Prison Fellowship was founded by former Watergate
offender, Chuck Colson, in 1976. The ministry has since worked in
hundreds of prisons around the country and reached over 500,000
prisoner's children through its Christmas outreach called AngelTree.
Major Donor Events
TCI specializes in the development of high impact
retreat weekends for major donors. These weekend events typically
feature performance artists, speakers, worship elements as well as time
to enjoy the venue and its surrounds. The weekends are designed to
achieve $1 million and up.
Results
TCI was selected by Prison Fellowship (PF) in 2007
to produce a spring 2008 event featuring PF Founder, Chuck Colson and
current PF President, Mark Earley. Guest speakers the Reverend Alistair
Begg and Franklin Graham of the Billy Graham Evangelical Association
were chosen for the weekend and, in close coordination with PF senior
staff, TCI produced a compelling program. By adding musical guests,
arranging the order of activities and staging toward a rising level of
excitement we were able to continually make the case for giving to the
ministry. TCI executed every detail of the event plan including all
logistics and program details which were broken down into minute by
minute increments over five days (including planned preparation days).
The result was an event at the Ritz Carlton in Naples, Florida for 200
people which achieved a net revenue of $2.1 million.
"The retreat which you managed for us in Naples ...was by any
measure the greatest we've ever had in all the years of our ministry."
Chuck Colson
